That event looks like so much fun!! Wait, did I see a picture of you in a costume? Congrats on being on the panel. Exactly when and where is the Norcomcon held? Have a great time!
Norwescon is being held at the Red Lion by the Seattle-Tacoma Airport. (Otherwise known as the SEA airport. :) And no, I wore a partial costume one day, but nothing full cosplay.
The cosplayers were just... so dedicated and so good. On a cute note, I rode in an elevator with a dad and his kid who was wearing a regular Halloween-style Pokemon costume, but the kid had his poses down and asked everyone in the elevator if they wanted to pose with him. And he had some takers, which was super sweet. :)
I enjoy the smaller cons more than the bigger ones, too, though it's pretty cool to meet a literary luminary. (I'm in the blog hop at samanthabryant.com)
It sounds like you had a wonderful time at the con! And meeting Sean Astin? Goonies never say die! How fun!! Yeah, AI and I aren't friends but I wouldn't say we're sworn enemies. The idea of using it for copy writing intrigues me and my husband actually does that with pretty good results. I just can't seem to trust anything without a soul. Now, if you let me borrow C3PO, I might change my mind but until that day, I think I'll sit on the side and watch :D
This was a packed post today! The con, your upcoming panels (awesome), and your revision mode. You are one busy writer!
Today, yes. Trust me. April will come and I will rest and look around and wonder what's next. :)
