Glad to have stumbled upon your page..."The overwhelm" is certainly a thing. I usually steer clear of social media, basically scroll for a few, throw out some likes, and then put it aside. However, I've wanted to get my Substack kinda "going." So my screen time has been way up this past week and a half. Yesterday, I died lol. Couldn't do it at all...anyways. Enjoy your break and happy Easter :)

I have been contemplating my role in a social media drenched world for several months now. Like you, I love newsletters and thoughtful, in depth posts. I love to drink in someone's words not just scroll past a quick shout out or photo of what they had for dinner. I can't keep up with everything and I no longer feel obligated to. It's such a relief when you remember who you are and WHOSE you are. Enjoy your break and let the peace and contemplation of Lent and the coming joy of Easter refresh you <3

I had a little overwhelm last week, but we're also in the process of buying a house, so go fig, eh! I've pared back on my writing tasks in the hopes I can keep some small but continual progress going while packing everything.

I have a book coming out in April. Remind me to email you about that.
