"Our work finds completion through sharing it with others." I love this! I love the thought that no matter how thorough I've been with editing or writing or researching or rewriting, my story doesn't fully come alive until someone who doesn't have the backstory, the images, the character personalities living rent free in their brain like I do comes along and reads it and is able to fully visualize the world I've created through words. Every story we read was alive to the author but it's never going to be exactly the same for every reader. Stories become more three dimensional that way. I've never thought of sharing my work in this capacity before. You've given me a lot to think about as I start a bulk submission process (which is making me very nervous even thinking about it!)
