So interesting! Many of my characters (most of them?) are passionate about their work. Some are passionate about their work, but not passionate about their current job. The new series I'm working on has that as one of its core theme - which I didn't realize until now! Thanks for the insights!
You're welcome. I didn't really realize it until recently and it's made me think - do I want to change this trend? Do I want to explore the "jobs we hate" in some of my books, or a character who is "doing what they have to do" - the problem is I have a feeling I would try to free that character from that type of job eventually. :)
